National Plate and Bowl round-up
PENTYRCH played their first game in nearly two months but showed no signs of rustiness as they booked their place in the next round of the Bowl.
Their last game was the 17-7 win over Gwernyfed in the previous round on October 27 that set up their encounter with Bargoed II. A combination of international rugby and bad weather have seen all their games since then called off but they managed to beat the weather this time and see off Bargoed II 29-24.
