Concerns: Giant prop Jefferson Poirot

Jefferson Poirot, the France international prop, has most things to be happy about, a fine salary in the Top 14 with Bordeaux-Begles and a oneyear- old son to bounce on his sturdy knees.
But he admits to having deep concerns about the future of the sport he loves. To such an alarming extent he says: “I am not totally sure that I want my boy to play rugby.”
Little can better encapsulate the medical crisis French rugby is going through than this penetrating cry from the heart.
