BOURNEMOUTH responded from their defeat last weekend with an emphatic 63-0 home victory over Newton Abbot to leave them seven points clear at the top of the South West Premier.
The hosts were dominant from the outset with Dan Stewart, Joe Tarrant and Scott Chislett running over the whitewash in the first half as they led 22-0 at half-time. Bournemouth carried on in similar vein in the second half with Ali Bennett securing the bonus point before Sam Hardcastle scored a brace and Stewart completed his hattrick.
