MERTHYR racked up a half century of points in another convincing win to remain at the summit.
But Cross Keys left the home of the Ironmen with something to show for their efforts as they secured a four-try losing bonus point.
Dale McIntosh’s Merthyr crossed for eight tries and raced into an early 14-0 lead. Wing Lewis Williams opened the scoring in the corner before prop Nathan Trevett made his way to the line following a sublime dummy. Richard Powell converted both efforts.
