A HAT-TRICK of tries from Efan Jones helped RGC 1404 secure a bonus-point win over Bedwas.
Along with Jones’ tries Tom Hughes and Dan Owen crossed for one each while Billy McBryde kicked 13 points, while Bedwas scored two tries courtesy of Jordan Reed and Craig Hudd.
Reed opened the scoring when he intercepted a loose pass from McBryde to run in the first try, but the home side hit straight back with hooker Evan Yardley running straight through an unguarded ruck before offloading to Jones who touched down.
