FORMER winners Heol y Cyw thrashed Taffs Well 50-0 to progress into the third round of the WRU National Plate.
The home side scored seven tries in total with captain Paul Short and No.8 Rhys Pope grabbing two tries each while Jack Griffiths, Jordan Hawkins and Chris Cooper also touched down for the 2013 champions.
Outside half Short was outstanding racing clear from inside his own half for his first score while he ghosted his way past three defenders for his second.
