Late drama sees Wimbledon off the top

WIMBLEDON drop to second following a late 28- 27 loss away at Guildford. Bradley Ugodulunwa,
Chris York, Rob Louw and Freddie Hooper, who also landed three conversions and a penalty, were the away try scorers with Joe Garner, Kyle Brown and Nick Brown crossing for the home side before a penalty try at the death broke Wimbledon hearts.
Westcliff, in second, took maximum points to become the new leaders, beating Brentwood 31-12. Ross Merrick, with two, Bill Morrant and Rob Smith were the home try scorers, all converted by Jack Jones to add to an early penalty.
