MERTHYR put in a fivestar performance to bag an impressive bonus-point victory at RGC 1404.
Matthew Jarvis booted the visitors in front on six minutes but it was in fact the Gogs who scored the first try on 13 minutes when winger Sam Jones produced a stunning solo run before powering over from close range.
This provoked a strong response from the Ironmen, who got their noses in front yet again three minutes later thanks to a fine break from Josh Martin, who took on a pass at pace before touching down.
