Venter eyes lead role to boost bid for Boks

WORCESTER midfield general Francois Venter believes last season’s PRO 14 experience with the Cheetahs can help him become ‘Top Bok’ in the Premiership and boost his Test hopes.
Capped seven times by South Africa, Venter harbours World Cup ambitions and his acquisition by Warriors could prove to be one of the league’s shrewdest pieces of business. Venter, 27, predicts a winwin situation, saying:
