RGC signed off in style with a thrilling victory over Newport, with Iolo Evans crossing for a try at the death.
The visitors went ahead courtesy of two penalties from Matt O’Brien. But RGC Danny Cross touched down after 20 minutes, Jacob Botica despatched the conversion.
However, Port regained the advantage on 31 when Joe Bartlett powered over. O’Brien added the extras.
RGC continued to press and dotted down after 33 minutes through Tiaan Loots, who was playing his final game for the club before his move to Dragons.
