A LAST-GASP penalty from fly-half Jack Maynard secured a win that sees the Drovers leapfrog Newport, Bedwas and Cardiff and up into fifth place in the table.
Spectators were treated to a very fine game of cut and thrust rugby with the North Walians out-scoring the Drovers four tries to three only to lose the game through ill-discipline at key moments.
They copped three second-half yellow cards after leading 12-10 at the break – prop Sam Wainwright, No. 8 Tim Grey and lock Robin Williams getting their marching orders.
