CARMARTHEN Quins showed their title credentials with a battling victory over Ebbw Vale at The Park.
Centre Josh Batcup and winger Morgan Griffiths both went over twice as the Quins picked up a bonus point to keep pace with leaders Merthyr.
Batcup opened the scoring in the ninth minute before Vale fly-half Lewis Dennett and Quins’ Thomas traded penalties before the latter added a conversion after Griffiths crashed over in the corner to put the hosts further ahead.
