Solomona in the dock for abusing Shillcock

SALE and England wing Denny Solomona has been charged after allegedly verbally abusing Jamie Shillcock in the Sharks’ win over Worcester Warriors.
Television microphones picked up Warriors scrumhalf Jamie Shillcock making the complaint of a ‘homophobic slur’ in the 55th minute of the Premiership match.
Solomona, 24, has been charged with “conduct prejudicial to the interests of the union or the game”.
He will face a disciplinary panel on Thursday, April 5 and faces a minimum suspension of six weeks if found guilty.
