Castle puts Ystalyfera into the Plat semi-finals

YSTALYFERA booked their place in the semifinals of the WRU National Plate with a 28-17 victory over One West strugglers Crymych.
Steffan Castle was the architect of Crymych’s defeat with a try, two conversions and three penalties. Josh Jarrett and Scott Gibson were also on target. Crymych could only manage a try from Aled Harries and four Ifan Phillips penalties.
Ystalyfera will now face One North leaders Nant Conwy in the last four with Brynmawr taking on Nelson in the other tie.
