Grabham’s blunder not enough to cost Bridgend

NEWPORT’S 100 per cent winning start to the second phase of the Premiership is over after a shock defeat at the Brewery Field.
The Black and Ambers got their noses in front thanks to two penalties from fly-half Matt O’Brien – the hero from the tee against Merthyr last weekend. But Bridgend hit back thanks to a Jamie Murphy penalty on the half hour and, on the brink of half time, came dangerously close to taking the lead for the first time.
