Maynard hits the sweet spot to kick Llandovery to victory

LLANDOVERY won their third game out of four in Phase Two of the Premiership after getting much the better of the Steelmen at a bitterly cold Church Bank. After the defeat at Bedwas, this was a welcome return to form for the Drovers but disappointment for Ebbw, who had won six of their last seven games.
With a biting east wind at their backs the Steelmen had the edge in territory and possession in the first half but went into the break just 6-5 up, such was the strength of the home tackling.
