CARMARTHEN went top of the table after a hardearned win over Cross Keys at Pandy Park.
It was Cross Keys who took an early lead with a Josh Prosser penalty but Carmarthen struck back through a Shaun Jones try, converted by Steff Marshall, less than a minute later.
A lack of imagination in attack and discipline in defence meant the hosts never looked like challenging their visitors in the opening 40 minutes.
