Guernsey find Saxons tough proposition

GUERNSEY continue at the top but had to come from behind for their 15-48 win away at Southend Saxons. Owen Thomas and Luke Sayer both crossed for two tries each with Sam Whitehead, Anthony Armstrong and Doug Horrocks over for one apiece. Thomas was also on target with five conversions and a penalty.
For the Saxons, who went in at the interval 15-10 ahead, Ross O’Brien and Blue Newton were the try scorers, with Max Navas adding a penalty.
