LLANDOVERY bounced back from consecutive defeats with a five-star victory over Bridgend at Church Bank. A yellow card for a deliberate knock down by wing Ed Doe cost Bridgend dearly, with Llandovery flanker Emyr Price burrowing over.
Fly-half Jack Maynard converted from way out before going on to score a brilliant solo try, dummying through on half way before fending off three tackles to score.
His conversion made it 14-0 inside 15 minutes but the Ravens continued to press and a penalty from fly-half Cai Evans was no more than they deserved.
