CARMARTHEN Quins’ fifth win in eight saw them claim a comprehensive victory over Llanelli in the Carmarthenshire derby.
Dan Jones and Ioan Hughes swapped two penalties apiece as the match started evenly, before Quins hooker Torin Myhill burrowed over for the first try of the game, Jones adding the extras.
Hughes missed a straight penalty before a sweeping attack worked in Tom Prydie on the Quins right wing. Jones again converted well to make it 20-6 at half-time.
