Ironmen overcome slow start to see off Ebbw

A BLISTERING secondhalf effort from Merthyr helped them beat rivals Ebbw Vale in a thriller at Eugene Cross Park.
A penalty try as well as Ed Siggery’s effort in the second half helped the Ironmen overturn a narrow 17-13 half-time deficit to take a second win in as many weeks, as their defence of the Premiership crown begins to build some momentum.
Ebbw took the lead early in the first half through outside-half Lewis Dennet’s penalty before Matthew Jarvis coolly levelled for the visitors.
