England name 17 contracted Sevens players

The RFU have named the 17 women who have been awarded professional Sevens contracts ahead of next year’s World Cup and Commonwealth Games.
Golden girl Emily Scarratt headlines the star-studded line-up with eight of the Team GB squad that competed at the 2016 Rio Olympic included. They are Abbie Brown, Heather Fisher, Claire Allan, Natasha Hunt, Emily Scott, Amy Wilson Hardy and Megan Jones.
Existing England Sevens players Chantelle Miell, Deborah Fleming, Holly Aitchison, Katie Mason and Millie Wood have also been awarded full-time Sevens contracts.
