BEDWAS recorded their second bonus-point win of the season in beating Newport 29-7 at Bridge Field.
The Gwent club started their campaign in thrilling fashion last weekend with their first victory over Premiership big shots Pontypridd.
Here, Bedwas opened the scoring in the first minute of the game when Ellis Shipp touched down from a rolling maul, with former Dragons outside-half Steffan Jones converting. The mercurial fly-half, who was outstanding all afternoon, added a penalty to put the hosts 8-0 up.
