Chiefs’ maul strikes but Blues hit back

IF anyone is going to strip the Chiefs of their Premiership title this season they are going to have to work out how to stop their virtually unstoppable driving maul.
It brought them three tries in their win against the Dragons and two more against the Blues but they completed their preseason with a defeat on Friday.
Don Armand and Sam Simmonds picked up the scores from those driving mauls in the first half. The first came after a dozen phases five metres from the home line and the second took a mere two.
