Warren into Llandovery record books with a try

LLANDOVERY began their campaign with a storming triumph over RGC 1404 despite being reduced to 14 men at Church Bank when Matthew Moore saw red. A pair of penalty tries and scores from Lee Rees and new record try scorer Aaron Warren secured victory despite Alex Taylor’s score for RGC.
Drovers hooker Moore was sent off after a fracas, but RGC could not make the most of their numerical advantage.
The North Walians grabbed the first points of the season thanks to a Jacob Botica penalty, but their lead would not last.
