LONDON Irish got a big morale booster two weeks from the start of the Premiership season with a four-try win over Ealing on Friday evening.
Pete Lydon got the scoreboard ticking with a penalty for Ealing two minutes in but it was Irish who got the first try and led 7-3 after Tommy Bell converted Ofisa Treviranus’ try from the back of a driving lineout.
It was then Canadian international Ciaran Hearn’s turn to get on the scoresheet, powering over in the corner following a swift backline move involving Luke McLean and Ben Ranso...
