LEWIS WILLIAMS ran in an impressive hat-trick as Pontypridd began their Tier One campaign with a bang at Sardis Road.
Huw Dowden and Gary Williams added to Williams’ three-try blast as Ponty brushed aside Carmarthen Quins with consumate ease.
The five-time Premiership winners lost to the Quins 32-26 back in November, but they were able to avenge the result on what was a bright afternoon in the Valleys. The Black & Whites began well and went ahead within two minutes.
