Super Rugby side Melbourne Rebels have made their second signing of the week by recruiting Irish prop Jamie Hagan.
The 28 year-old has made over 100 appearances for northern hemisphere clubs but makes the moves Down Under on a two-year contract, to join up with former Munster head coach Tony McGahan.
On making the saying McGahan said, “to be able to bring a front row player into the team with 100 caps at the professional level is a real positive for the improvement of the squad.”
While the player himself added, “growing up in Ireland, I have always watched Super Rugby on a Saturday morning and it has always fascinated me.”
Formerly of Leinster, Connacht and London Irish, Hagan made one appearance for Ireland in 2013 when called up by Interim boss Les Kiss for a tour match against the USA, and joins All Black Adam Thomson in the move to Melbourne.
