THE season kicked off in Japan yesterday and I was delighted to see my old club the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Sagamihara Dynaboars playing in the top-flight. I spent three seasons there at the end of my career, but only in the second tier. Now they are in the big time, playing against some of the world’s best players in the recently reformed Japan Rugby League One.
