Shane Williams World Cup XV

Dan Biggar15. Ayumu Goromaru (): The Brave Blossoms deserved more after three wins and he was key against .
14. Nehe Milner-Scudder (NZ): Habana got into the history books but I really enjoyed watching this guy terrorise defences and I suspect there’s a lot more to come.
13. Mark Bennett (): Broken through after playing exceptionally well all season.
12. Matt Giteau (): What a great decision by Michael to get this magician back.
11. Santiago Cordero (): Juan Imhoff has been great but I’ll be watching the other Pumas wing closely for the next few years.
10. Dan Biggar (): Bernard Foley will be most people’s choice but Dan did an amazing job behind a pack that sometimes struggled.
9. Aaron Smith (NZ): He has been the catalyst for everything the have done.
1. Scott Sio (Australia): Mobile and part of the much-improved Wallaby set-piece.
2. Agustin Creevy (Argentina): A real leader on the pitch and a great ball-carrier.
3. Marcos Ayerza (Argentina): Solid as you like in but also so mobile around the pitch.
4. Leone Nakarawa (): Was superb against Wales and Australia. Great hands and part of excellent Fiji lineout.
5. Brodie Retallick (NZ): No-nonsense workhorse who does all the dirty stuff that often goes unnoticed.
6. Scott Fardy (Australia): Overshadowed by his back-row colleagues but has been so destructive in awesome Wallaby defence.
7. Schalk Burger (South Africa): Rolled back the years with his return and is now even better. He has added a distribution game to his usual brute force.
8. David Pocock (Australia): His success rate at the breakdown is phenomenal. Beat the England pack single-handedly.
