A teenaged colossus introduced himself to the Six Nations late on Friday night in the mayhem of Marseille, thereby maintaining more than merely a family tradition.
For all his might, Posolo Tuilagi could do nothing to avert the deepening crisis of a French team swept away by the tidal wave of an Ireland team hell bent on another Grand Slam. His arrival did raise the shuddering prospect of what might happen should he bump into uncle Manu when England emerge at Lyon for the last match of the triple-header finale in six weeks’ time.
