The Welsh Rugby Union will be braced for another rough ride today, its annual meeting coming hot on the heels of the governing body being found guilty, as charged, of sexism, misogyny, racism and homophobia.
Club delegates, many angry over the findings of an independent investigation which leaves their Union’s reputation for fair play in tatters, will want answers to questions over former chief executive Steve Phillips’ £480,000 pay-off and the insulting attitude which drove Amanda Blanc to resign as chair of the Professional Game Board.
