Didier Camberabero is in his early Sixties now, twice as old as when he decorated a work of French art at Twickenham worthy of beatification after all these years.
Many hands went into making HQ’s try of the century, a 1991 masterpiece spanning more than 100 metres thanks to Camberabero finding a sublime way out of a cul-de-sac on halfway. Its creator-in-chief will scarcely find a crumb of comfort from a distant feat before his Gallic magic 32 years ago.
