Cardiff Blues averaged 5,714 over their opening three fixtures, almost 2,000 down on the corresponding figure last season. Ospreys’ average of 4,746 represented a drop of more than 1,500. Scarlets were down by a thousand to 6,342, the Dragons by a few short of 800 at 3,420.
