NOBODY’S star can have taken off on a steeper trajectory in recent months than Joy Neville’s. In reaching ever skyward, Ireland’s former Grand Slam captain is blazing a trail for women referees the world over.
She made her Champions’ Cup debut in Montpellier last Sunday as an assistant referee during Exeter’s stirring win. Her return to the international scene duly followed yesterday in Oslo where she took charge of Norway-Denmark in Conference 2 of Rugby Europe.
