Georgia's U20 victory over England is an example of one country making the most of their resources, while the other is failing to do so, thanks to a stagnant, ring-fenced Premiership, and an Academy system in which players lack enough crucial match practice.
Add to that a system in which too many young players are rejected far too soon without alternative aspirational avenues, and it is not difficult to understand the downward trajectory which saw the England U20s annihilated 42-7 by their France counterparts in Bath three months ago in the Six Nations U20 championship.
