Light Blues still attract a good crowd

While some Premiership clubs had been struggling to draw crowds of 4,000, the annual Cambridge University v Steele-Bodger’s XV at Grange Road last Wednesday attracted that many to a vibrant occasion.
The match not only celebrated the illustrious history of the Light Blues, bringing together generations of players who have worn the colours with distinction, it also gave the current side a useful barometer against a Steele-Bodger’s outfit selected from National Leagues 1 and 2.
