THE Six Nations opener in Marseille between France and Ireland was a really good game of rugby in which the teams were again very closely matched. However, when lock Paul Willemse was sent off, effectively leaving France playing with 14 against 15 for the best part of an hour, there was only going to be one winner.
France could have no complaints because the two yellows were clear and obvious and, under the law, Willemse had to be given a red.
