Eddie Jones has blamed the RFU for the demise of the game in England for not producing enough quality players.
I have to say that I disagree with Jones, as I am sure that England is still producing quality players, it is just the fact that there is no way for them to advance through the game if they are not ‘discovered’ as a youth and signed by an academy.
There must be loads of young talent out there, but with this blinkered view of only looking at academies, these valuable players will never be discovered. Without the Premiership academy players competing in the few county rugby competiti...
