"I have a contract that runs until June 2028, so no.” That was France head coach Fabien Galthie’s succinct – and perfectly reasonable – response to the frankly ridiculous post-match press conference question of whether he would stand down following the one-point quarter-final defeat against South Africa last Sunday.
