It has been a busy week in various corridors of power in French rugby – with, in chronological order, the removal of another Top 14 coach, the election of a new FFR president, and the appointment of a new attack coach for the French national squad.
Let’s start at the top. On Monday, Xavier Garbajosa was relieved of his duties as head coach at Lyon, despite guiding the club to a thirdplace finish in his first and, as it turned out only, season in charge.
