Pierre-Yves Revol, president of Top 14 strugglers Castres, was in no mood to mince his words this week as he laid out the hard truth for his players.
“We cannot hide,” the normally urbane and publicly unruffled Revol said before the squad headed to a three-day camp at Gruissan, on the Mediterranean coast, some 200km from their usual training ground on the outskirts of Castres.
