It's the burning question of the moment: what is Jacques Nienaber? Not “who is Jacques Nienaber”, or “why is he here”, or “what is he for”, or “how did a World Cup-winning coach from the Northern Cape materialise in the fair city of Dublin, home to the undisputed champions of second place”? We’ve known those answers for a while, but the “what” remains a mystery, to the extent that poor old Leinster are being accused of pulling a fast one.
Is he a rugby director? A head coach? A senior coach? A waterboy?
A water adult? A bird? A plane?
