Dafydd Jenkins’ yellow card last week for Exeter against Bayonne has caused much debate with most people agreeing that is was almost physically impossible for the towering Jenkins to get any lower when completing the front on tackle of his diminutive opponent – who clocked a solid shoulder direct to the head for his troubles as he trucked the ball up.
Grumpy sod that I am, I initially tweeted that Jenkins, below, was lucky to avoid red before changing mind and conceding that even yellow was a bit harsh. And now? I’m not so sure again.
