THE WELSH Rugby Union unveiled their latest new toy this week – The Parkgate Hotel which will be opening on Westgate Street in time for the autumn series.
It has caused plenty of angst among Welsh rugby supporters. I can totally understand why fans of the game in our country are frustrated at the WRU spending tens of millions on a new hotel venture when the four regions and the grassroots game are struggling so badly financially.
Let’s be honest, the regions need real help and they need it now. The same goes for the grassroots clubs up and down the country who haven’t played or had any reven...
