I just can’t understand why Eddie Jones told his players to be wary of a World Cup curse because England finished runners up in the final. It’s as if he was making excuses before his team had played a game in the Six Nations, even though virtually everyone including me thought an experienced England side would be too strong for the callow youth of France in the first game after the World Cup final.
