CONCUSSION is one of the biggest problems in the game right now and any attempts to minimise the number of incidents have my backing. So I read with interest this week the plans to try a new tackle law in England’s second tier Championship Cup competition for the season to come.
The idea is noble, but I have my doubts about how it will work initially. It will be very difficult for the players to adapt to and the result might be a lot of yellow and red cards early on in those matches.
