Dylan Hartley has been banned for two weeks for striking an opponent with his elbow last week.
The incident occurred as the Premiership club faced Ulster in the third round of the Heineken Cup and Hartley was caught on camera striking opposite number and Lions rival Rory Best with his elbow twice.
He is free to play again on December 24.
Meanwhile, Cardiff Blues LLoyd Williams received a five-week ban for a tip tackle on Benoit Paillaugue against Montpellier last Sunday.
The scrum-half was red carded on 24th minute and given a nine-week ban but his disciplinary record and guilty plea helped to see the ban reduced.
He is free to play again on January 14.
