Ferris undergoes ankle surgery

Stephen Ferris underwent surgery today to repair a tendon injury in one of his ankles.
The Ulster and Ireland flanker damaged his ankle back on November 2 when Ulster travelled to Edinburgh in the RaboDirect PRO12.
The injury will be reviewed in the coming weeks to establish an accurate time period for recovery and to assess when he will fit to return to play.
