Philippe Saint-Andre has assessed Sale’s title prospects and declared: "It’s about time they won something again."
The Frenchman was in charge when the Sharks claimed their solitary Premiership title in 2005/06.
On that day, they famously hammered Leicester 45-20 at a rain-soaked Twickenham.
Sale fail to kick on after title success
At the time, that victory under Brian Kennedy’s ownership encouraged hopes of a sustained period of success for the Manchester-based club.
